The ground rules for using GateBell, written to be read. If something here is unclear, write to us.
Last updated:
GateBell is a product of Stynosoft Private Limited, A702 Manorath Lifestyle, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India 382007 (“we”, “us”). These terms cover the GateBell mobile app and the GateBell admin web portal (together, “GateBell”).
GateBell is used by housing societies. You use it as an admin, treasurer, guard, resident or family member of a society that has joined GateBell. By using GateBell you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use GateBell.
Please use GateBell only for what it is meant for, which is running a housing society. Do not:
Your housing society, not GateBell, decides what is recorded about visitors, residents, daily help and vehicles, and who in the society can see it. If you are an admin or treasurer, you act for the society, and you are responsible for:
GateBell does not process payments or hold money. Residents pay the society directly, and the society confirms the payment in GateBell.
We work to keep GateBell running well, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features.
Alerts also depend on things we do not control, such as your phone, your network, your battery settings and the push service that delivers notifications. GateBell helps a society run its gate. It does not guarantee anyone’s safety, and it does not replace guards, other security measures or common sense. A society should be able to carry on at the gate if the app is unavailable.
We may suspend or limit an account or a whole society if these terms are broken, if there is a security risk, if the law requires it, or if the society’s agreement with us is not kept. While something is suspended, the society’s data is kept, and the retention periods in the Privacy Policy keep running.
To the extent the law allows, Stynosoft Private Limited is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by something outside our reasonable control, such as power or internet failures, your device, or services run by others.
Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under law that cannot be taken away, and nothing limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app or the portal. If you keep using GateBell after a change, you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Gandhinagar, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
Complaints about personal data go to our Grievance Officer, Kalpesh Thakkar, kalpesh@gatebell.in. We respond within 30 days.
